Michèle Beaudin, owner-manager of “Immi’ges” Fine arts and Crafts Gallery, is a free-lance writer and photographer who currently resides in Tallahassee, Florida. Born in Montréal, she moved to the New York area in 1976 to pursue her career in the International Reinsurance field. She later owned and managed an Information Technology consulting firm, all the while writing for newspapers, trade magazines and documenting her travels as well as friends and relatives’ lives on camera. After a three-year interlude in Bermuda, she moved to Wisconsin and eventually joined the Peace Corps as a small business development volunteer in Morocco. She now pursues a full time career in the arts.

A three-time mother and grandmother, a feminist and political activist, Beaudin is an active member of organizations, such as NOW, the League of Women Voters, and works as a Guardian ad Litem for children in dependency cases.

Her photographs have been seen and have received awards and prizes in various fine arts shows around the country. With many book projects underway, Beaudin self-published chap books, which offer stories, poetry or insights accompanied by the photographs that inspired the words.
